Each chapter is dedicated to a different type of crime and the punishments handed out. Whilst this book gives much of its space over to murder, other crimes are also included.
 
About the Author:
Peter Naylor is well known in Derbyshire for the more than twenty books to his credit. He lives in the county and was the editor of the Derbyshire Heritage series of books. He is also a Juryman on the Barmote Courts. He assisted in creating the Peak District Mining Museum and is an Honorary Member of the Peak District Mines Historical Society.
